In support of a close protection operation in a hostile environment with very poor medical infrastructure Vesper deployed embedded paramedics in its close protection teams. The paramedics were deployed with fully equipped state of the art trauma equipment and operated under the guidance of remote tele-medicine support. The paramedics' scope of work included being the primary first responder in medical emergencies and they were also responsible for undertaking medical intelligence and medical liaison, thus ensuring coordination between the client, host nation and the insurance company.
